Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending October 28 were 463,500 pieces. The figure for exports of wet blue was 92,400 pieces. 

The most recent steer hide prices provided prices for seven types of hides at seven price points, with prices ranging from $31 for heavy Texas steers weighing between 60 and 62 pounds, $29 for Colorado branded steers weighing between 64 and 66 pounds, and $13 for branded south-west cows weighing between 50 and 52 pounds.
