Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending October 14 were 415,700 pieces. The figure for exports of wet blue was 150,500 pieces. 

 The most recent steer hide prices provided prices for three types of hides, with prices ranging from $34 for heavy Texas steers weighing between 60 and 62 pounds, $33 for Colorado branded steers weighing between 64 and 66 pounds, and $25 for branded heifers weighing between 50 and 52 pounds.
