Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending September 30 were 568,800 pieces. The figure for exports of wet blue was 166,500 pieces. 

The most recent steer hide prices provided prices for seven types of hides, with prices ranging from $51 for native steers weighing between 60 and 62 pounds and $40 for Colorado branded steers weighing between 64 and 66 pounds, to $17 for branded south-west cow hides weighing between 50 and 52 pounds.
