Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending May 27 were  226,600 pieces, while the figure for wet blue was 272,000 pieces. 

The most recent steer hide prices showed prices for seven types of US hides at eight price points, with a spread of $20 for branded south-west cows to $54 for heavy native steers.
