Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending February 18 were 210,000 pieces, while the figure for wet blue was 22,300 pieces. 

The most recent steer hide prices include levels of $30.50 for a heavy Texas steer hide 74-76 pounds and the same for Colorado branded steers weighing 64 to 66 pounds. For cow hides, prices ranged from $25.50 for dairy cow hides weighing 50 to 52 pounds, to $14.00 for branded cow hides in the south-west weighing between 50 and 52 pounds.
