Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending December 24 were 166,900 pieces, while the figure for wet blue was 123,400 pieces. 

The most recent steer hide prices include levels of $25.50 for a Colorado branded steer hide weighing between 66 and 68 pounds. For cow hides, prices ranged from $23 for dairy cow hides weighing 50 to 52 pounds, to $11.50 for branded cow hides in the south-west.
