Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending November 5 were 383,800 pieces, while the figure for wet blue was  22,300 pieces. 

The most recent steer hide prices ranged from $37 for a cured and fleshed butt-branded steer hide weighing between 66 and 68 pounds, to $26 for a Colorado branded steer hide of the same weight. For cow hides, prices were $20 or $21 for hides weighing 50 to 52 pounds.
