Hides and Skins: Net sales of 351,400 pieces were down 20 percent from the previous week and 10 percent from the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide sales of 348,900 pieces were primarily for China (137,900 pieces), South Korea (102,400 pieces), Mexico (39,400 pieces), Taiwan (27,800 pieces, including 12,300 pieces switched from Vietnam) and Vietnam (20,000 pieces). Exports of 526,900 pieces were down 2 percent from the previous week and 7 percent from the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide exports of 520,400 pieces were primarily to China (267,300 pieces), South Korea (143,100 pieces), Taiwan (23,400 pieces), Hong Kong (21,100 pieces), Mexico (18,900 pieces) and Thailand (18,700 pieces). 

Net sales of 85,100 wet blues were down 37 percent from the previous week and 28 percent from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were Mexico (28,800 grain splits and 8,100 unsplit), Vietnam (22,300 unsplit), Italy (11,100 unsplit) and Taiwan (9,600 unsplit). Exports of 92,700 hides were down 1 percent from the previous week and 21 percent from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were Mexico (28,000 grain splits and 2,100 unsplit), China (28,300 unsplit), Hong Kong (7,800 unsplit and 3,600 grain splits), Thailand (7,400 unsplit), and Italy (6,700 unsplit). Net sales of splits totalling 765,100 pounds were for South Korea (450,000 pounds), Hong Kong (314,000 pounds) and China (1,100 pounds). Exports of 45,100 pounds were for China.
