Hides and Skins: Net sales of 267,300 pieces, were down 22 percent from the previous week and 39 percent from the prior four-week average. Whole cattle hide sales of 267,500 pieces were primarily for China (175,800 pieces), South Korea (29,400 pieces), Hong Kong (16,900 pieces), Thailand (14,800 pieces) and Mexico (10,900 pieces). Exports of 422,600 pieces were down 26 percent from the previous week and 38 percent from the prior four-week average. Whole cattle hide exports of 421,500 pieces were primarily to China (229,500 pieces), South Korea (110,200 pieces), Taiwan (28,600 pieces), Mexico (16,700 pieces), Hong Kong (13,500 pieces) and Thailand (11,500 pieces). 

Net sales of 143,900 wet blues were up 91 percent from the previous week and 18 percent from the prior four-week average. The primary destinations were Taiwan (43,300 unsplit), Mexico (22,900 grain splits and 7,100 unsplit), Italy (27,200 unsplit and 2,000 grain splits) and South Korea (10,000 unsplit and 8,000 grain splits). Exports of 146,700 hides were up 28 percent from the previous week and 43 percent from the prior four-week average. The primary destinations were China (45,000 unsplit and 13,300 grain splits), Italy (29,700 unsplit and 3,600 grain splits), Taiwan (24,500 unsplit) and Mexico (19,400 grain splits and 2,100 unsplit). Net sales of splits totalling 94,200 pounds resulted as increases for South Korea (100,000 pounds) were partially offset by decreases for Vietnam (5,900 pounds). Exports of 144,200 pounds were down 60 percent from the previous week and 58 percent from the prior four-week average. The destinations were Hong Kong (50,000 pounds), Taiwan (50,000 pounds) and Vietnam (44,200 pounds).
