Hides and Skins: Net sales of 560,700 pieces were down 33 percent from the previous week and 17 percent from the prior four-week average. Whole cattle hide sales of 548,100 pieces were primarily for China (325,500 pieces), South Korea (106,400 pieces), Hong Kong (49,200 pieces), Thailand (41,300 pieces) and Mexico (15,700 pieces). Exports of 520,800 pieces were down 24 percent from the previous week and 15 percent from the prior four-week average. Whole cattle hide exports of 496,400 pieces were primarily to China (226,600 pieces), South Korea (123,400 pieces), Hong Kong (35,400 pieces), Taiwan (34,200 pieces), Mexico (19,600 pieces) and Thailand (17,800 pieces). 

Net sales of 66,900 wet blues were down eight percent from the previous week and 34 percent from the prior four-week average. The primary destinations were Mexico (30,900 grain splits and 300 unsplit), China (15,400 unsplit and 5,700 grain splits), South Korea (9,500 unsplit) and Vietnam (3,200 unsplit). Exports of 119,300 hides were down 33 percent from the previous week and 23 percent from the prior four-week average. The primary destinations were China (38,900 unsplit), Mexico (21,900 grain splits and 6,900 unsplit), Thailand (16,300 unsplit) and Italy (15,000 unsplit). Net sales of splits totalling 333,500 pounds resulted as increases for China (174,400 pounds), Hong Kong (89,100 pounds), Mexico (44,000 pounds) and Taiwan (44,000 pounds), were partially offset by decreases for Vietnam (18,000 pounds). Exports of 419,500 pounds were up 35 percent from the previous week and 86 percent from the prior four-week average.  he destinations were Hong Kong (245,100 pounds), Vietnam (132,000 pounds) and China (42,400 pounds).
