Hides and Skins: Net sales of 786,300 pieces were up 96 per cent from the previous week and 40 per cent above the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide sales of 785,400 pieces—a marketing-year high—were mainly for China (424,500 pieces), South Korea (188,900 pieces), and Taiwan (91,500 pieces). Exports of 449,400 pieces were 8 per cent below the previous week and 4 per cent under the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide exports of 442,900 pieces were primarily for China (225,100 pieces), South Korea (73,900 pieces), and Taiwan (47,300 pieces).
