Hides and Skins: Net sales of 496,900 pieces were 37 per cent below the previous week and 9 per cent under the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide sales of 492,300 pieces were mainly for China (219,600 pieces), South Korea (112,100 pieces), Taiwan (70,700 pieces), and Japan (42,100 pieces). Exports of 476,900 pieces were 10 per cent above the previous week and 9 per cent over the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide exports of 469,700 pieces were primarily for China (169,400 pieces), South Korea (153,400 pieces), and Taiwan (55,500 pieces).
