Hides and Skins:  Net sales of 522,800 pieces were 36 per cent above the previous week and 20 per cent over the prior 4-week average.  Whole cattle hide sales of 490,300 pieces were primarily for China (174,500 pieces), South Korea (104,900 pieces), Hong Kong (63,400 pieces), and Taiwan (55,200 pieces).  In addition, whole cattle hide sales of 14,200 pieces reported for delivery in the 2005 marketing year were all to China.  Exports of 509,900 pieces were up 30 per cent from the previous week and 19 percent more than the prior 4-week average.  Whole cattle hide exports of 481,700 pieces were mainly for South Korea (163,300 pieces) and China (146,000 pieces).
