Hides and Skins:  Net sales of 349,200 pieces were 9% below the previous week and 26% under the prior 4-week average.  Whole cattle hide sales of 332,300 pieces were primarily for China (122,900 pieces) and South Korea (109,300 pieces).  In addition, whole cattle hide sales of 26,600 pieces for delivery in the 2004 marketing year were mainly for China (16,500 pieces--switched from 2003), Hong Kong (3,200 pieces--switched from 2003), and Vietnam (2,700 pieces).  Exports of 339,000 pieces were 13% less than the prior week and 33% lower than the previous 4-week average.  Whole cattle hide exports of 326,300 pieces were mainly for South Korea (110,700 pieces) and China (96,300 pieces).
