Hides and Skins:  Net sales of 489,600 pieces were 21 percent below the previous week, but 1 percent over the prior 4-week average.  Whole cattle hide sales of 468,600 pieces were primarily for Taiwan (114,600 pieces), South Korea (108,900 pieces), Hong Kong (79,600 pieces), Italy (52,800 pieces), and Japan (48,800 pieces).  Exports of 522,200 pieces were up 5 percent from the week earlier, but down 6 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Whole cattle hide exports of 499,900 pieces were mainly for China (168,300 pieces), South Korea (121,500 pieces), Hong Kong (61,100 pieces), Japan (50,800 pieces), and Taiwan (47,100 pieces).
