Hides and Skins: Net sales of 424,600 pieces were 23% below the prior week and 22% under the 4-week average. Whole cattle hide sales of 323,900 pieces were primarily for South Korea (64,900 pieces), China (62,400 pieces), Taiwan (59,200 pieces), and Japan (50,300 pieces). Exports of 533,800 pieces were up 2% from the previous week, but down 1% from the 4-week average. Whole cattle hide shipments of 445,300 pieces were destined mainly for South Korea (170,900 pieces), China (115,900 pieces), and Japan (44,800 pieces).
