Turkish tanner branches into biomaterial to ‘embrace change’

Turkish tannery Desa has signed a licensing agreement with biotechnology company Gozen to tan its “biomaterial” Lunaform, in a move it describes as “embracing change, rather than resisting it”.

It set up a subsidiary, Nuera, in August, which will manage the material’s development from its factory in Istanbul.
