Trade body the UK’s Association of Independent Meat Suppliers (AIMS) has confirmed that meat suppliers have been among the businesses targeted by hackers in recent weeks. 

Supermarket groups in France reported in mid-October that hackers had gained remote access to refrigeration systems and caused millions of euros of damage to food they had in storage.
