India and Vietnam footwear ties in focus

The Council for Leather Exports (CLE) used the Vietnam Footwear Summit in Ho Chi Minh City on September 16-18 to discuss opportunities for closer cooperation between the Indian and Vietnamese footwear industries.

Speaking on behalf of CLE, vice-chairman Mukhtarul Amin presented opportunities for investment, joint ventures and technical collaboration, while discussing India's footwear manufacturing sector and domestic market.
