Increase in raw hides and skins coming into China

The China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) has reported an ongoing increase in the volume and value of raw hides and skins that leather manufacturers there are importing.
In the first seven months of 2026, imports of raw hides and skins reached a volume of 862,000 tonnes, up by 4.2% year on year.
