Muirhead materials selected for rail travel concept

Muirhead, part of Scottish Leather Group, has been named a specialist material partner for DAY/DREAM, a new overnight rail interior concept unveiled by design consultancy PriestmanGoode at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin.

The concept is designed to convert existing European passenger trains from daytime seating to overnight sleeping accommodation without requiring dedicated sleeper fleets or new rolling stock.
