German leather manufacturer Südleder has welcomed three new apprentices as the company's 2026 training year gets underway.

The new recruits, who started their training on September 1, are undertaking vocational training in leather production and tannery technology, while the third is training as an industrial clerk.

Südleder said training and the development of young talent remain important priorities, with qualified young people providing a foundation for maintaining quality craftsmanship and supporting innovation in the leather industry.

The company said the new apprentices will have the opportunity to develop their skills through practical training and projects during their time with the business.
