Meatco advances sustainability standards at Okapuka Tannery

Namibia’s Meatco has announced that its Okapuka Tannery has completed a sustainability audit carried out by the Sustainable Leather Foundation (SLF).

The company said the assessment reflects its commitment to internationally recognised environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards and supports efforts to strengthen Namibia’s position in global leather markets.
