Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending February 10 were  434,800 pieces. The figure for exports of wet blue was 151,900 pieces.

The most recent steer hide prices provided prices for seven types of hides at seven price points, with prices ranging from $43 for heavy native steers weighing 64 pounds, and $35 for butt-branded steers weighing between 64 and 66 pounds, to just $14 for branded cows at 50-52 pounds and $13 for branded south-west cows at the same weight.
