Presidents visit LVMH pavilion at Shanghai event

Luxury group LVMH paid host to the presidents of China and France at the second China International Import Expo in Shanghai on November 5.

The group set up a 500 square-metre pavilion at the event, with dedicated space for 13 of its brands.

President Emmanuel Macron of France attended the exhibition to mark the fifty-fifth anniversary of formal diplomatic relations between the two countries.

At the LVMH pavilion, he and President Xi Jinping of China drank a toast to ongoing trade between the two countries with a glass of one of the group’s fine wines, Château Cheval Blanc from Bordeaux.
