Grace Wales Bonner blouson among adidas Originals highlights
Leather features prominently in a new collection that designer Grace Wales Bonner has produced for adidas Originals.
Ms Wales Bonner will present her first collection as creative director for men’s ready-to-wear at luxury brand Hermès early in the new year.
She has been working on collections for adidas originals since 2021.
Leather highlights in the London-based designer’s autumn-winter 2026 collection for the adidas brand include a number of footwear styles that use croc-stamped bovine leather. Versions of the Gazelle and Karintha styles are part of this.
In addition, there is a piece that adidas has described as the centre of an “elevated apparel collection”. It is a leather blouson in a bark colour that Grace Wales Bonner uses frequently.
Details include crochet side strips and embossed branding.
