Pakistan: new chairman elected for central region

The Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) has elected Muhammad Azam of Royal Leather Industries in Lahore as its chairman for the central region of the country for the 2026-28 term.

Muhammad Shafi of Mateen Brothers in Karachi will be senior vice-chairman, while Muhammad Mehr Ali of KTM Leather in Multan will be vice-chairman. All three were elected unopposed.
