The founder of an important producer of ostrich leather, Saag Jonker, has died. Mr Jonker died at the end of September after his pick-up truck was swept away by a flood.He attempted to cross a bridge over the Olifants River, close to his home in Oudtshoorn, but was caught up in a torrent of floodwater.
