Brazil's leather and footwear industry will be represented by 13 companies at the Expo Detalles exhibition, which takes place in Lima from August 12 to 14. 

Industry association Assintecal has said the event represents "great business potential" for member companies that aspire to supply footwear manufacturers in Peru.

However, Assintecal also said there would be opportunities for Brazilian suppliers attending Expo Detalles to develop ties to customers in other parts of Latin America, including Columbia, Ecuador and Bolivia.

The 13 Brazilian companies will attend the Lima event with the support of Assintecal and of export promotions agency ApexBrasil.
