The Sustainable Leather Foundation (SLF) has been listed on the International Trade Centre (ITC) Global Standards Map, becoming the first leather-specific certification body to achieve this recognition.

The listing follows an in-depth review of SLF’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Audit Certification programme, governance systems, and procedures.

The ITC’s Standards Map provides detailed information on over 300 voluntary sustainability standards across various sectors. SLF's certification was acknowledged for addressing key themes such as human rights, labour standards, climate change, and traceability, aligning with all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
