IULTCS congress confirms in person only event
The Organizing Committee of the 37th International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies (IULTCS) Congress, to be held in Chengdu will not have provision for online attendees.
The announcement was made after “sincere consideration” and it was decided that the virtual portal be cancelled due to lower than anticipated registrants.
The organising committee said the paramount objective for the conference was to provide a “dynamic and engaging platform for knowledge sharing and networking” and that given the limited interest demonstrated by online registrants it was decided that allocating resources and cost to manage the virtual component would not be justified.
The Organizing Committee will promptly reach out to the registrants who have already registered for the virtual conference.
The entire conference proceedings will be recorded and uploaded to the conference website after the congress concludes.
The XXXVII IULTCS International Congress will be held in Chengdu, China between
October 17 and 20.
