French luxury group Kering has promoted current director of corporate finance, treasury and insurance, Armelle Poulou, to the position of chief financial officer.

Ms Poulou, an HEC Paris alumna who first joined the business back in 2019, will assume her new responsibilities on September 1. She will continue to report directly to deputy chief executive, Jean-Marc Duplaix, its operations and finance responsible.

Late last month, Kering reported revenues of €10.1 billion for the first half of the year, representing year-on-year growth of 2%.
