TFL appoints interim CEO
Leather chemicals group TFL has announced the departure of Dr Wolfgang Schütt and that an interim CEO has been appointed.
TFL said that the supervisory board did not prolong the current contract for Dr. Schütt in July 2023 but thanked him for his contributions during his two and a half year tenure, during the strategically and operationally important integration of Lanxess’ Organic Leather Chemicals business as well as tactical projects. They wish him the very best for the future.
With the change, the appointment of Russell Taylor as interim CEO was also announced. Currently on the TFL Board and also the Executive Chairman of Bakelite Synthetics, a Specialty manufacturer of Industrial Chemicals, Mr Taylor has been associated with Black Diamond Capital Mgmt. for several years. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at several public and privately owned companies.
