Leather manufacturer Wollsdorf has achieved recertification under the Blue Angel label for its furniture leather, repeating success it first achieved in 2011.

This means furniture manufacturers using Wollsdorf leather in their collections can display the Blue Angel label as part of their presentation to customers.

Blue Angel claims to be the oldest eco label in the world, having first been awarded in 1978. Since then it has approved thousands of products across 80 different categories.

Assessments take place every three or four years under the auspices of Germany’s federal ministry for the environment.
