Outstanding Q3 for Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta
Luxury group Kering has reported revenues for the third quarter of almost €4.2 billion. It said this represented an increase of more than 12% compared to the same quarter in 2020 and of 10% compared to the third quarter of 2019.
Chief executive, François-Henri Pinault, hailed the “outstanding performance” of Yves Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta in particular.
Gucci was, by far, the group’s biggest-earning brand, bringing in revenues of almost €2.2 billion for the three-month period, growth of 3.8% year on year. Yves Saint Laurent’s sales of just over €650 million, however, represented growth of 28%. Bottega Veneta’s €363.4 million in in third-quarter revenues, up by 9%.
