Change of chief executive at Bottega Veneta

17/06/2019
Luxury group Kering has appointed Bartolomeo Rongone as the new chief executive of Bottega Veneta. He was previously chief operating officer of Yves Saint Laurent. He succeeds Claus-Dietrich Lahrs, who Kering said had taken a personal decision to leave to spend more time with his  his family and to take on a new entrepreneurial challenge.

Leo Rongone’s mission will be to realise the full potential of what Kering called “the new creative force” that has been driving Bottega Veneta since 2018. This is a reference to Daniel Lee, who became the brand’s creative director on July 1, 2018.
