Plans for new tannery in Kenya

It is expected to process hides and skins from the area as well as from the Nakuru, Nyandarua and Kajiado counties.
The reports have suggested investment in the new facility will total 1.2 billion Kenyan Shillings (just under $12 million at current exchange rates).
Once complete, it will reportedly produce 4,000 tonnes of leather per year.
