Stahl extols Proviera benefits

Stahl obtained the rights to distribute the range in February 2016. In the build-up to the All China Leather Exhibition in Shanghai (August 31-September 2), it described its partner’s products as “100% biodegradable and 100% natural biotech alternatives to existing chemicals and processing techniques in the leather industry”.
It went on to say that because nearly 70% of the wastewater from leather production processes comes from beamhouse systems, the benefits (in terms of sustainability) of replacing traditional leather chemicals with 100% natural products are large.
Proviera’s leather products contain what Stahl called “a powerful consortium of biochemicals derived from probiotics”, have a long shelf-life and can be applied at a wide pH and temperature range. They can be used on any type of raw material and are appropriate for soaking, liming, deliming and degreasing.
