Third international store for Mashad Leather

25/09/2012
Iranian manufacturer of leather, leather apparel and leathergoods Mashad Leather has announced the opening of its third own-brand retail outlet outside its domestic market, this time in the Iraqi city of Erbil.

The Erbil store follows new stores in Melbourne, Australia and Sarajevo, Bosnia, which opened earlier in 2012.

Mashad Leather was founded in 1996 by entrepreneur Reza Hamidi in the industrial village known as Charm Shahr (Leather City) in
Mashad, Iran’s second-largest city. It has 40 stores across Iran at the moment.

“After achieving huge success in local markets and improving the quality of our production, we crafted a plan to enter the international market. Our goal is to open 10 stores internationally by the end of 2013,” said managing director, Hassan Nasirian.
