Coach brand gets new CEO as part of restructure

07/04/2017
Leathergoods group Coach, Inc. has appointed Joshua Schulman as president and CEO of its Coach brand. He will assume the role on June 5.

The company said this newly created role is part of a leadership restructure, which was instigated following Coach, Inc.’s acquisition of footwear brand Stuart Weitzman. Mr Schulman will report to Coach, Inc. CEO Victor Luis, who was previously in charge of the Coach brand. It marks an “important step” in the group’s “evolution as a customer-focused, multi-brand organisation”.

Coach, Inc. also announced two other changes to its leadership team.

Ian Bickley, currently president of the Coach brand’s international business, is to be promoted to president of global business development and strategic alliances for Coach, Inc.

Andre Cohen, president of North America and global marketing for the Coach brand will leave the company at the end of June.
