07/10/2015
UK luxury industry association Walpole has launched the search for candidates for its 2016 Brands of Tomorrow competition.

An alliance of 170 UK luxury brands, including Burberry, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Bentley, Jimmy Choo, Mulberry and Smythson, Walpole seeks to provide a platform for high-end businesses to share ideas and best practice. It has run the Brands of Tomorrow competition since 2007.

Brands of Tomorrow is an opportunity for emerging companies to benefit from workshops and a mentoring programme set up by Walpole. To be eligible, companies must have an annual turnover of a minimum of £100,000 and demonstrate the highest standards of quality, design and craftsmanship.

Walpole says the UK industry has a value of more than £30 million per year and will employ more than 150,000 people by 2019.
